International Relations
The University of Catania, the oldest among the universities in central and southern Italy, considers the process of internationalization of teaching and research to be of fundamental importance for its development. To this end, it has adopted strategic guidelines aimed at enhancing its visibility, reputation, and attractiveness.
Unict has already established effective and well-consolidated collaborations with partners at both the European and non-European levels. Due to its central position in relation to the Mediterranean area, it continues to play a crucial role in fostering connections with significant potential.
This section presents the university’s main mobility programs, which enable incoming and outgoing faculty members and students to engage in teaching, research, study, internships, and training periods at European and non-European universities and institutions.
