The website of the University of Catania serves as a primary tool for institutional support, providing a platform for communicating information about the university, including the services related to didactic, research, personnel and the administration for which content updates are guaranteed

Use of the Logo of the Athenaeum
To regulate the use of the university's logo, guidelines are published, ensuring that the logo is used appropriately.
About the institutional communication, through press releases, websites, videos, logo (brand) of the University of Catania, this must always be established by combining the historical seal 'Siciliae Studium Generale - 1434' and the current logo (that is writing The University of the Studies of Catania) right-aligned and vertically centered or, alternatively, placed down the seal and horizontally centered. This structure is an integral part of the logo and cannot be altered.
Concession and Use of the Logo
All those who might intend to use properly the logo of the Athenaeum to promote (through press releases, websites, videos) initiatives such as conventions, scientific events, conferences, seminars, workshops and other social, cultural, scientific activities – for university related purposes, they shall send a specific request for patronage and logo concession via email at rettorato@unict.it
To Access linked external websites
Links to external websites, indicated in the portal, are commonly used to provide a simple service for users, with exclusion of any responsibility on accuracy and completeness of the information contained on these websites. In fact, the university’s control over the quality and completeness of content is limited, or the use of the information published therein.
The Athenaeum's website, by linking to external resources, disclaims any responsibility or approval for the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of the information contained on the linked websites. Responsibility for that information lies solely with the third-party websites themselves.
Social Media Policy
The University of Catania uses social media to foster communication and interaction among students and personnel interested in its activities. The information on social media is complementary and does not replace the information system of the Athenaeum.
