Biochemical Mechanisms in uveal melanoma progression

The project is directed at evaluating the biochemical and molecular mechanisms related to uveal melanoma progression, metastasis and proliferation. The candidate will be involved in cell culture activities and in all phases of sample processing. In particular the techniques employed during this project will be Western Blotting, Real time PCR, immunocitochemistry, citofluorimetric analysis. The lab of Prof. Li Volti is currently hosting one PhD student, two senior lab research associate and 4 students.
