The University of Catania gives foreign students, professors and staff the possibility to spend up to one year mobility for study, training and teaching purposes within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
Mobilities can take place from October to July of every academic year (be aware that no didactic activities are offered in August and September).
Erasmus students' mobility starting date will be the Registration Day , while professors and staff can decide either to partecipate to the Erasmus Staff Week or to agree with the hosting structure the period of their mobility.
Updated information on the Registration Day is available at the page below while specific information on courses calendar and exams sessions is available within the departments pages. Students and professors will receive administrative assistance and logistic support from the hosting university but should apply for mobility funds to their home institutions.

We are pleased to inform you that the University of Catania has reopened incoming and outgoing mobility for students. Therefore, students will be accepted at the University of Catania for the second semester.
The registration procedure, already provided by the UNICT Mobility Office to all incoming students, are the following:
FIRST SEMESTER/FULL AY 2021-2022
Registration on September 28, 2021 (from 9,30 to 12,30), Erasmus Front Office, Via Santa Maria del Rosario, 11, Catania.
SECOND SEMESTER AY 2021-2022
Registration on February 25 , 2022 (from 9,30 to 12,30), Erasmus Front Office, Aula (Room) n.1 Benedictine monastery in Piazza Dante, 32
Partner universities, holding a valid bilateral agreement for AY 2021/22, must submit nominations for second semester by email to Sebastiano Finocchiaro email@example.com at IMO office by 5 November 2021. Students wishing to attend a blended mobility from home country are requested to send the acceptance form, clearly mentioning the blended mode, provided by sending institution.
On-line teaching is not guaranteed during the second semester and changes may be possible.
We remind you that wearing a mask is strictly requested to access all University building and should be taken while staying in all indoor or closed spaces, other than private homes, and in all outdoor spaces.
