Admission

Admission to this program requires candidates to hold a high school diploma or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification. The selection process for the  Medicine and Surgery is governed by national regulations for numerus clausus university courses, adhering to procedures established by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (M.U.R.) and subsequent Rectoral Notices. Applicants must demonstrate the knowledge specified in the M.U.R. decrees, which outline the required entry-level competencies and the content of the admission tests.

Pre-enrolment deadline on www.universitaly.it is the 31th July. Note that pre-enrolment requests will be approved only after the Ministry of Education will publish the decree stating selection and admission procedures.

To pre-enrol you should submit:

• High/secondary school leaving qualification certificate or equivalent qualifications (e.g. A levels/the International Baccalaureate/High school diploma or equivalent). Check here  to learn whether there are particular requirements for the diplomas of your country.;
• certificate confirming you have passed a university entrance test if the school that issued your secondary/high school certificate (or equivalent) is under the jurisdiction of a country where the regulations require such an exam
• B2 certificate of English knowledge (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge or Medium of Instruction letter if you studied in English). If you don't attach an English knowledge certificate your pre enrolment will not be validated.

Update: We have reached the maximum number of pre-enrollment requests through Universitaly. Pre-enrollment requests exceeding the maximum number established by D.R. 2092 del 12.06.2026 cannot be validated.
