Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry (PPORTO02)

The traineeship will be performed at the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical and Analytical Chemistry of the Department of Drug Sciences, directed by professor Milena Rizzo. Main activities will include: - Purification of Samples derived from biological matrices; - development of new analitica methods using HPLC and UV Spectroscopy. The trainee will be involved in the study of the literature production, in the use of specific software and in practical activities in laboratory, with the use of specific equipement for the determination of the active compounds in different matrices (i.e. UV Spectroscopy, HPLC, IR spectrophotometer, etc).

The trainee has to be organized, reliable, computer literate. and able to work independently. Moreover, the trainee has to be flexible and willing to work on any project that is assigned
