Course Overview
This MSc is for future mechanical and mechatronic engineers. Students will be trained in all aspects of mechanical design involving mechanics, power, control, and manufacturing traditionally covered by mechanical engineering including:
- materials engineering;
- design and modelling;
- numerical methodology;
- functional and structural design methods;
- fluid machines;
- production systems;
- energy;
- mechatronics and biomechanics.
Educational Goals
The educational programme offers three types of curricula with lectures being delivered in English throughout the second year. These are:
- Advanced Mechanical Design
- Mechatronics and Manufacturing
- Energy and Environment
And learning outcomes can be summarized in eight items, in terms of skills acquisition:
- Problem-solving of complex technical problems through innovative solutions;
- Able to design, give a structure and manage complex as well as innovative type of processes;
