Abstract

The GRInS Partnership aims at the development of an integrated set of heterogeneous geo-referenced database for the study of various dimensions relevant to the analysis of the state and evolution of the economic and social conditions of italian territories and the economic system as a whole.

The Partnership allows for further development of some initiatives that have addressed the aforementioned topics over the past years: Environmental, related to the evolution of climatic conditions, mapping of relevant natural risks, pollution data. b) Socio-economic and healthcare-related, involving the analysis of heterogeneous information on sentiment, mobility, consumption, healthcare, as well as the trends in economic activities. c) Financial, for analyzing the relationship between environmental dynamics and risk profile evolution.

The Partnership can focus on the in-depth analysis of sustainability profiles in the long and medium term, for various economic system actors: STATE, FAMILIES, BUSINESSES. Similarly, the challenge of debt becomes relevant in light of the European project concerning the Capital Markets Union, aimed at rebalancing the financial structure of businesses and facilitating their access to the capital market, as well as the broader theme of sustainable finance.

The Partnership adopts a problem solving, interdisciplinary, and holistic approach
