the new call for applications is now available. Please click here to check the English version of the call.

Please visit https://www.unict.it/it/bandi/dottorati-di-ricerca/2022-2023/dottorati-r... for additional information

The closing date for the application procedure is August 3 2022, h. 12,00 (noon, Italian time).

The application is web-based through the University’s online system, which implies that no applications can be accepted via e-mail or mail/email. All annexes to the application must be uploaded onto the online application system.

To apply for a Ph.D. course you will need a second-level degree.

If you hold an Italian Second Level degree, that is, a Laurea Magistrale/Specialistica/Vecchio Ordinamento issued by an Italian University, you will need to upload either a self-declaration (in Italian “Dichiarazione sostitutiva”) or a degree certificate. Please make sure that either the self-declaration or the degree certificate include your study plan and a transcript of records.

Conversely, if your second level degree was issued by a foreign university, you will need to upload your second level degree certificate with transcript of records plus a “Statement of comparability for access to public competition” or a “Declaration of value”. Either document is valid.

The statement of comparability is issued by CIMEA (for information on how to obtain this document please visit https://www.cimea.it/EN/pagina-attestati-di-comparabilita-e-verifica-dei-titoli ) while the Declaration of value is issued by an Italian Embassy or Consulate (for information on how to obtain this document please refer to the Italian Embassy/Consulate in your country) .

Considering that the issuance of either a statement of comparability or a declaration of value requires 15 to 20 working days, it is advisable to proceed with the request of one of these documents well before applying for any of the advertised Ph.D. posts.

Please be informed that failure to upload any of the aforementioned documents will lead to the exclusion from the selection procedure.
