Educational Offer in English

Engineering

For the Academic year 2017/18, the Department of Civil Engineering offers the master degree course in:
  • Chemical engineering for industrial sustainability: it is a two-years course held in English, aiming to provide students the ability to formalize and solve complex technical problems and formulate innovative solutions, plan, organize and manage complex processes through innovative knowledge in the field of corporate organization and professional ethics.
The Department of Electric, Electronic and Computer Engineering offers two Master degree courses:
  • Automation Engineering and Control of Complex Systems: it is held in English and aims to provide students with a deep knowledge of the fundamentals of technical as well as scientific aspects of the disciplines which characterize the field of Automation Engineering, without discarding affine and integrative subjects
  • Electrical Engineering: it is held in English and aims to train high specialists in electronics and digital electronics with particular reference to electronic circuit board.

Physics

For the Academic year 2017/18, the Department of Physics and Astronomy offers the Master degree course in:
  • Physics: The Master of Sciences in Physics provides the student disciplinary insights that extend and reinforce the knowledge acquired during the Bachelor Course, in specific areas of physics, both basic and more specialized. Insights are also provided for similar activities such as mathematics and computing. In addition, in order to provide students with tools for a prompt insertion into the international context, if agreed with them and / or in the presence of foreign students attending under Erasmus or international framework agreements, the lectures will be delivered in English language.

Political and Social Sciences

For the Academic year 2017/18, the Department of Political and Social Sciences offers the Master degree course in:
  • Global Politics and Euro-Mediterranean Relations: "Glopem" is a two-year full-time programme entirely taught in English, offering an advanced training programme to people eager to analyze how European and global institutions tackle the challenges set by the recent acceleration of the process of globalization, and the increased interdependence of societies, markets, and states.
Moreover, besides a wide range of courses in Italian, the Master degree programme in "Internationalization of Trade Relations" offers a number of courses in English.
 

Law

Besides a wide range of courses in Italian the Department of Law offers a number of courses in English. The main objective of the English courses catalogue is to offer both Italian and exchange students the opportunity to attend optional classes proposing an in-depth knowledge of specific aspects of Italian, comparative, EU and International Law. While there are no formal language requirements, an upper intermediate level in English (CEFRL level B2) is deemed appropriate.
 

Economics and Business

Besides a wide range of courses in Italian, the Master degree Programme in "Corporate Finance" offers also a number of courses in English.
